Lyon Street townhouse repairs underway



This row of  stacked townhouses on Lyon Street at Gloucester were damaged by fire last June. After months of no action, repairs are now underway.

    The delay had a lot to do with the city's early involvement. For some reason the city took special measures to secure this property and keep residents out until they thought it was safe.

    Now if Somerset House and the old Ogilvy building on Rideau could finally get fixed up as well. Those buildings could be real gems in the right hands.
