BikeWest hits EMC Community Papers
The current issue of the EMC news has a story on BikeWest by Rosalyn Stevens: you can read it at this link:
I'm glad this is getting some positive press. The way City Hall is building bike lanes is, for lack of a better word, stupid.
"Yeah, we'll build them when we can" is a way to have a bunch of disconnected bike lanes that go nowhere, and nobody will use.
Next thing you know, they'll stop providing even the pitiful amount of money they do provide, because "nobody's using the bike paths". It's a self-fulfilling prophecy.
